Wink - The One-Eyed-Bandit - Ummm Errrr, Hermit Crab
This is Wink, he only has one eye and he is a Rugosus or Ruggie. I have had him since January 21, 2005 and he has molted several time, but he has never grown his eye back, but he has grown a lot.
Missing one eye has never slowed Wink down or stopped him from being adorable.
Hermit crabs won’t grow their eyes back. Hermit crabs may develop eye crust; this is usually temporary and seems to appear pre molt. This eye crust will usually disapper after a molt.
